Wow, pretty awesome. This will be really useful.

Lots of tracks today to post cause it’s so sunny and I’ve got a big weekend ahead of me so I’m feeling the buzz init.
First of all it’s a bunch of Russian guys pretty much re-creating Sembello’s Maniac but I ask, why not?
Tesla Boy – Spirit of the Night
Next it’s m’boy Tensnake remixing his way across the city with this stomper.
Ajello – Moody Bang (Tensnake Remix)
Annie has returned with her ace ace ace track Anthonio. All good news, but what’s even better is this sensuous Berlin edit.
Annie – Anthonio (Berlin Breakdown Version)
Finally, a House classic to wind down the afternoon.
Mr Fingers – Can U Feel It (Instrumental)
Have a good weekend. PEACE x

I’ve been a huge fan of Tensnake and all his remixes after stumbling across Congolal on Beatport early last year. He’s just released his new EP In The End (I Want You To Cry). Here’s a teaser with the title track. Pick it up on Beatport if u like what u hear. Top Techno Disco in my tummy.
Tensnake – In The End(I Want You To Cry)

STREAM NEW SMD TRACK ON THEIR OFFICIAL SITE. Beautifully produced, as usual from the boyos. I like this.
Haha this is good. Tiga is funny, so he is.
What is it to sing?
He, or she, would dance for food, for toothpaste, for eye contact lol

If someone asks you to watch this movie with them, put a gun in their mouth.

Dunno about you, but I’ll definitely find a use for Mac Freedom – a program that disables your Internet for up to 8 hours so you can get on with being creative. Kind of sad that the only way we’ll be dragged from the net is if it literally doesn’t work, but oh well…

Die Verboten, the latest collab between Soulwax and Riton announce a vinyl-only release of an 18-min live performance titled Live in Eivissa. There’s only 300 being pressed mind, so if you want to get your hands on the rare release (with packaging that can be folded into a pyramid – designed by artist Fergadelic) head to The Vinyl Factory and slap your 30 bucks on the desk for pre-order.
Expect Eine-Kleine-esque Kraut-synth adventures with a sunshine-twist. Sounds pretty much like a great thing, huh?
Kinda hard to explain what this does – just put in a URL and watch it work it’s magic. Pretty cool.
In Bflat – a rather wonderul YouTube collaboration. Múm are fucked.
Great documentary about the history of EMS, one of the pioneers of synth design.
Gonzales is deep in the midst of his record-breaking attempt metioned earlier. Follow the action live!
One of my favourite DJs meets possibly my favourite portable media player with competent DJ functionality. Beats in Space honcho Tim Sweeney has done a mix for Tonium’s fantastic Pacemaker.
Shout outs to Tensnake as always and once again, Shit Robot’s Simple Things.
On a side note, any of you mix-creators (DJs?) out there, grab an invite to the über-cool MixCloud from Future Music’s blog.
P.S. There’s no indication that this mix was actually created on a Pacemaker, but who cares?

Haha this is awesome. Gonzales is going to try and break the world record for the longest concert by a solo musician – 27 of your finest hours. You know he’ll do it too. Explain yourself:
I’m gonna do it! I will play 27 fucking hours of piano/talk entertainment so I can win a prize. A framed certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest solo concert by an individual in public by a pianist with a big nose. It will begin at 23 o’clock on May 16th and continue until….Jesus. I don’t even want to know when it ends. I am half Houdini, half Energizer Bunny and this will prove it. Please come support me! I need you! I promise to play well and I will not waste your time.
Go get em tiger rarrr.

Don’t you just love Fred and his little French face? His new The Gossip remix is pretty templatey, but a perfect warm-up track and has some nice moments. Observe…

Gutted I can’t make this but I’ve been to Paramount before and it’s amazing. Here’s Serge Santiago’s description of what’s going down. London folk, be there, you won’t regret it.
THIS FRIDAY (15th): REVERSE – Paramount, 31st Floor of Centre Point!
“Guy called me up with an idea about a party involving sunsets and sunrises, which at first sounded a tad cheesy, but as the concept unfolded Guy had me totally hooked…
…Now with everything in place we have our first party on the 31st floor of the Centre Point Building in the venue, Paramount, which means 360 degree views of London as the sun-rises. The space is wonderful and holds approx 400, you see at this point if I wasn’t putting the party on I’d go even before I heard who playing but with Greg Wilson headlining and Dan Beaumont following very closely behind then Guy and Me, what you going to do? – Disco, 30 floors up, as the sun comes up – you tell me?” – Serge
Reverse: Djs
