Here are two tracks I’ve been listening to today. One is Donna Allen’s Serious, which was sampled for Strike’s You Sure Do and the second is Falke’s new release Chicago, which samples Roy Ayers. Both remind me of a top weekend I had at Big Chill, both completely dissimilar, both pretty damn fresh. Onwards…

Donna Allen – Serious (12″ Mix)

Fred Falke ft Teff Balmer – Chicago (Extended Mix)

It’s been a while. I’ve been very busy.
But today I racked up a pile of tracks.
I’m gonna post them – they are good tracks.
Bye x

This is a cool track from the 80s that Serge Santiago did a cool edit of, but this is the original extended Disco edit.

Rondo Veneziano – La Serenissima (Extended Disco Edit)

Bit of a classic I just re-discovered recently. The sampled double-claps here are perfect.

Alan Braxe & Fred Falke – Arena

Came across this just this week – an Italo stomper – I love the synth chords and sound. Delicious.

International Music System – An English ’93

Oh heck here’s another IMS track and why not? This one is their 1984 classic hit – sounds a lot like The Pineapple’s Come on Closer, if you dig that, consider this dug.

International Music System – Dancing Therapy (12″ Mix)

That’s enough for you guys for now. Have a good weekend x

Don’t you just love Fred and his little French face? His new The Gossip remix is pretty templatey, but a perfect warm-up track and has some nice moments. Observe…

The Gossip – Heavy Cross (Fred Falke Remix)

Oh yes! I was concerned my beloved Annie had wilted a tad after the dated and forgettable I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me, but this track puts her right back on it. I want an album of this (with different lyrics). Released 4th May with remixes from the Falke among others.
